Biography

He began his music career with rap in 2012, when he started working with Marcin Grabski, the owner of the Asfalt Records label. As a result of this cooperation, the first solo album "Żyto" was released by Asfalt Records. On his debut album, Żyto plays songs such as - "Czy matka wie że ćpiesz", "W Labiryncie" or "To nie ja". The popular single from the album - "Czy matka wie że ćpiesz" had a wide resonance. The device made available the song "Jest mi trudno" for which it was produced by Mikołaj Bugajak aka Południe. In 2014, Sokół, the owner of the PROSTO music label invited Żyto to cooperate, as a result of which the artist's second solo album "Wiry" was created. On the grave, guests included Kękę, Małolat, Olekhds, among others.

In 2015, Żytniak turned to visual arts and began studies at the Jan Długosz Academy in Częstochowa (today the University of Humanities and Natural Sciences) in the field of workshop graphics. In 2016, the artist moved to Warsaw, where he founded the casual clothing brand Ladra with a friend. Michał Żytniak's works are sold by the Artoffice and DESA UNICUM auction houses. His paintings are in the collections of, among others, Julia Wieniawa, Magdalena Schejbal, Oskar Tuszyński from the PRO8L3M band, Paluch, Kękę, Piotr Sobociński Jr. Interviews with the artist have been published by, among others, the editorial offices of Elle, VOGUE Polska and Noizz.pl. Żytniak also gave an interview for the book by Jacek Baliński and Bartek Strowski "This is not Hip-Hop. Conversations II".

In 2021, the artist returned to his music career by releasing the album Morze Południowe with producer Mikołaj Bugajak, known under the pseudonym Noon. The album was released by Nowe Nagrania. The recordings reached 14th place on the OLiS list. Michał Żytniak is also the author of the lyrics to the music in the film "Zadra" directed by Grzegorz Mołda, which premiered in the fall of 2022.
